Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja, will today, hear the bail applications brought before him by former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha and his co-accused, Anyim Chinenye.
Okorocha and Chinenye were remanded in EFCC custody on Monday after the EFCC arraigned them and five companies on 17 counts of money laundering.
The former Imo State Governor, was arrested after a 7-hr face-off with the EFCC at his Abuja home last week.
Meanwhile, Okorocha has slammed a N1Billion suit on the EFCC for allegedly violating his fundamental human rights.
In the suit filed before an Abuja federal high court on May 27, the attorney-general of the federation is joined as the second respondent.
The former governor is demanding N1 billion as exemplary damages against the respondents and a public apology in at least three national dailies.
